Twitter notes
I noticed that John was using Twhirl to post his tweets, so I gave it a try too. I’ve switched back to Twitterific, it is better at being unobtrusive. I like that it’s a menu bar item, and doesn’t take up any room in the dock (although I keep my dock hidden). The one thing Twhirl does that Twitterific doesn’t is that it displays what UI was used for each tweet (just as the website does). Useful? Not for day-to-day use. Twitterific uses Growl (because it can, not being cross-platform). The default colour scheme for Twhirl is soothing.
